CLEVELAND, OH – Scoring in just three sports in the fall season the Williams College Ephs tallied 233.50 points and the Ephs are currently ranked 13th in the NCAA DIII Directors' Cup standings.

Johns Hopkins University leads the NCAA DIII standings at the end of the fall season with 383.00 points, scoring in six sports. The Ephs have a lot of catching up to do, trailing by 149.50 points.

Last year the Ephs were tied with MIT in 10th place at the end of the fall season with 222.0 points and they were 188 points behind the leader Washington University (MO), which had scored 410.0 points.

The only other time the Ephs did not finish in the top 10 in the fall standings was back in 1997 when they tallied but 50 points (different scoring system) and were 35th in the standings. The Ephs mounted a strong comeback effort in the winter and spring of 1998, but ended up 4th in the standings with 430.0 points.

To date Williams has won 20 of the 22 Directors' Cups awarded in NCAA DIII.
