SERIES:  Began in 1906 and Williams owns a 66-17-1 lead overall.

Williams has won the last 11 meetings vs. Middlebury.

Middlebury's last win in the series came in 2000 when they blanked the Ephs 7-0 on Weston Field.

COACHES:  Aaron Kelton is 14-5 and in his third season at the helm of the Ephs.

Kelton is the first African American head football coach at Williams and in NESCAC, as well as the first Eph football head coach to debut with a perfect season.

Kelton is 2-0 vs. Middlebury.

Middlebury head coach Bob Ritter is 53-38 and in his 12th year as the head coach at Middlebury.

Ritter is 0-11 vs. the Ephs.

LAST MEETING:  At Middlebury the Ephs ran for 280 yards and 5 TDs, three from Tom Wohlwender and two from Marco Hernandez to offset 409 yards through the air by Middlebury to come home with a 48-28 win.

LAST WEEK:  Williams lost at Bates 33-6 by turning the ball over 4 times in key situations that enabled the Bobcats ground game to control the contest from start to finish.

At Middlebury the Panthers collected their 5th straight win by downing Amherst 24-3. Panther QB McCallum Foote connected on 39 of 60 passes for 2 TDs and 379 yards.

STREAKS:  Middlebury enters Weston Field riding a 5-game win streak and has won its first three games to open a season for the first time since 2007.

Williams has won the last 11 games vs. Middlebury.

Eph placekicker Joe Mallock has made his last 9 FGs.

Three consecutive weeks a Middlebury Panther has been named NESCAC Offensive or Defensive Player of the Week this season. QB McCallum Foote and WR Zach Driscoll earned Offensive honors, while this past week LB Tim Patricia collected Defensive laurels.
