Meera Sivalingam Caps Career With All-America Honors

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Meera Sivalingam (Philadelphia, PA) a three-year starter and a four-year letterman for the Williams field hockey team has become the first Eph to earn All-America honors since 2007, earning Third Team NFHCA All-American recognition.

A defensive back. Sivalingam. was also selected to participate in the 2011 National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Senior Game Saturday, November 19 at Nichols College.

During the 2011 season, Sivalingam started 14 games, contributed two goals, one assist, and fired off 22 shots. She also recorded one defensive save. The team finished with a 7-8 overall record, and made an appearance in the NESCAC quarterfinals.

Previously this fall Sivalingam earned First Team All-NESCAC and First Team All-New England West Region honors from the NFHCA or the second consecutive year.
