Most recently this Eph duo was accorded Honorable Mention All-America honors by the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
This is the first USILA honor for Fahey an attack, while Hoffman on defense also earned Honorable Mention honors in 2015.
"Michael Fahey and Riley Hoffman are very deserving of being recognized as USILA All-Americans," said Eph head coach George McCormack. "Both Michael and Riley were four-year starters for us and they excelled in one of the toughest conferences in the country."
Both Fahey and Hoffman were also honored as Scholar All-Americans by the USILA.
The criteria are:
A Scholar All-American must be nominated by his coach and be a student with a senior year academic standing and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale). He will have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution, and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. He must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player.
Previously this spring Fahey and Hoffman were named to the North Squad for the prestigious annual North-South Lacrosse Game.
Additionally, Fahey and Hoffman both earned All-NESCAC and New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association post-season honors this season.
Fahey played in 62 games for the Ephs. Fahey scored 113 goals, assisted on 56 for 169 career points. He also scooped up 96 ground balls.
Riley Hoffman also played in 62 games, netting 34 goals, recording nine assists, and collecting 200 ground balls.
