WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – The Williams College men's soccer team, seeded sixth in the NESCAC Tournament field, will head to Brunswick, Maine Saturday to face third seeded Bowdoin at 12:30 p.m.
Williams won a sixth place tiebreaker over Hamilton by defeating the Continentals in the regular season 2-1.
Back on September 17 in the fourth game of their season the Ephs played Bowdoin on the road and the Ephs were defeated 1-0. The game was a defensive struggle as both teams total manged just four shots on goal. Eph goalie Bobby Schneiderman turned aside two of the three shots he faced, while Bowdoin's Stevie Van Siclen stopped the lone Eph shot on goal.
The winner of the Williams vs. Bowdoin match will advance to the NESCAC Semifinals on Saturday, November 4 at the highest remaining seeded team.
