Men's Tennis Earns Road Win Over Tufts

MEDFORD, MA -- The Williams men's tennis team concluded their regular season on Sunday with an 8-1 at Tufts.
Williams got off to a hot start in doubles, as the number one team of Trey Meyer and Alex Schidlovsky, as well as the number two team of Felix Sun and Matt Micheli each won their prosets 8-3.

Bryan Chow and Brian Astrachan gave Williams a 3-0 lead with a 8-5 win at number three.

Trey Meyer led the Ephs in singles play at number one with a 6-1, 6-0 win. Zach Weiss blanked his opponent in the second set en route to a 6-3, 6-0 victory. Felix Sun had to work hard to take his match at number three 6-3, 6-4, and Dylan Page even more so, earning a 7-5, 6-3 win.

"Tufts has gotten better and better so it was good for us to end our regular season with this win," commented head coach Dan Greenberg. "We played solid doubles at all three spots and got tougher in singles play as the match went on."
Williams enters conference play ranked #6 in the nation, the highest of five NESCAC teams in the Top 25.
