WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Three members of Dan Greenberg's Williams men's tennis team that is headed to the NCAA Quarterfinals in Chattanooga, Tenn., next week have been accorded All-NESCAC honors.

Junior Brian Grodecki (Wayne, Pa.) earned his third and fourth career All-NESCAC honors by virtue of his selection to the First Team in doubles and the Second Team in singles play. All three years Grodecki has earned Second Team honors in singles play. This season Grodecki sports a record of 22-6 playing at #2 singles for the Ephs.
Teaming with first year Alex Taylor (Cincinnati, OH) this Eph duo has compiled a doubles ledger of 25-6. Last fall the Grodecki-Taylor tandem advanced to the semifinals of the ITA New England doubles competition.
Grodecki and Taylor have earned a spot in the NCAA Doubles Tournament in Chattanooga that will commence after the NCAA Team Championship Tournament has been completed.
Recetnly the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) named Brian Grodecki the Northeast Region winner of the Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship award.
Junior singles player Sachin Raghavan (New York, N.Y.) has a glittering record of 24-4 this year playing at #3 singles. Raghavan collected his first All-NESCAC honor this season when he was named to the conference Second Team.
Next up for the Ephs is an NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals match against Emory University on May 22 in Chattanooga, Tenn.
