Men's Cross Country Earns Team & Individual Honors From USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS -- Peter Farwell's 2017 Williams men's cross country team has earned team and individual acdemic honors from 
the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA's team academic award, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional meet and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale. 

Farwell's Eph harriers sport a team GPA of 3.54.

Four Ephs earned individual academic honors this season from the USTFCCCA. 

In order to qualify for this honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.

The four honored Ephs this season include one senior, two sophomores, and one first year: sophomore Ryan Cox, senior Ben Decker, sophomre Peter Kirgis and first year Aidan Ryan.
