Cassie Loftus joins Pat Manning's Williams College women's basketball coaching staff after spending the previous two years at Springfield College, where she earned a Master's degree in secondary education.
While at Springfield, Loftus was a assistant on the women's basketball team, specializing in tutoring the Pride's post players, including 2009 NEWMAC Player of the Year Corey Finch.
Loftus is a 2008 graduate of Saint Anselm's College, where she majored in history and minored in Catholic studies. She was also president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She played three years for the Hawks and was designated captain for two years. In her senior season, she reached career highs in both scoring and rebounding. Loftus also spent one year playing for Brandeis University.
A native of Nashua, New Hampshire, Loftus was a member of the
Nashua South High School girls' basketball team that won three
state championships in her four years on the varsity. She was named
First Team All-State Class L her senior year and was a member of
the 2002, 2003, and 2004 New Hampshire All-Scholastic Team.
