Cordelia Chan, Liz Gudas, Phoebe Mattana & Isabella Wang Named WGCA All-American Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, FLORIDA – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced today with a total of 1,011 women's collegiate golfers in all three NCAA Divisions were recognized with this prestigious honor.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

This Eph quartet played in the NCAA DIII Championships in May in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, where Williams finished second to Claremont Mudd Scripps after a two-hole playoff.

Senior Phoebe Mattana from Demarest, N.J. earned All-American Scholar honors for the fourth consecutive year.

Junior Cordelia Chan (Windsor, Ontario) was honored for the third consecutive year, while senior Liz Gudas (Binghamton, N.Y) and junior Isabella Wang (Orlando, Fla.) were both honored for the first time.
