Kristi Kirshe selected NESCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week & ECAC-New England Co-Offensive Player of the Week

HADLEY, MA — Williams College first year Kristi Kirshe (Franklin, MA) was chosen as the NESCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week, it was announced Monday.

Kirshe had a high-impact week for the Ephs, who recorded two big conference wins on the road. Kirshe scored the game-winner in the 98th minute in a 1-0 overtime win over Wesleyan, then added a goal and a assist in a 3-0 win at Bowdoin Sunday.

Kirshe has 5 points (2 goals, 1 assist) on the season for the 7-1-2 Ephs who have now gone six straight games without a loss.

On Tuesday the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced that Kirshe and senior forward Taylor Miranda of Suffolk University were named Co-Offensive Players of the Week in New England Division III.
