Williams Goes Undefeated at Union College Invitational this Weekend

SCHENECTADY, NY—The Ephs had another two wins at the Union College today.

First, Williams went up against Skidmore, and took them down in three quick sets, 25-16, 25-16, and 25-11.

Tori Jasuta lead the team in offense with 14 kills, with Katherine Lane contributing 7 kills. Tori Jasuta also lead the team in defense with 11 digs. Ryan Farley had 28 assists.

Second, Williams played Hartwick, and also managed to take them down in three sets, 25-10, 25-8, and 25-10.

Tori Jasuta was kill leader with 11 kills, while Raea Rassmussen close behind with 10 kills. Mandy Schott lead the defense with 10 digs, and Ryan Farley had 35 assists.

"I am overall really pleased with our team performance this weekend," says Coach Christi Kelsey, "We had an opportunity to play some strong New York teams, and I liked how focused and consistent our team has been thus far."

"The team was really disciplined in all aspects and didn't take any points off," Sophomore, Ryan Farley, says about this weekend, "It was really a team victory, everyone contributed."

Next weekend the Ephs will play Bates and Bowdoin for their first home weekend and first NESCAC weekend of the season.
