Women's Cross Country Earns Team & Individual Academic Honors From USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS -- Peter Farwell's 2017 Williams women's cross country team that won the Little Three title and finished 8th nationally has earned team and individual acdemic honors from the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA's team academic award, it must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional meet and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.10 on a 4.0 scale. 

Farwell's Ephs sport a team GPA of 3.67.

Seven Ephs earned individual academic honors this season from the USTFCCCA. 

In order to qualify for this honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.

The seven honored Ephs this season include four seniors, one junior, one sophomore, and one first year. Seniors honored were Anna Harleen, Victoria Kinghan, Emily Sundquist and Stella Worters. Junior Emily Harris, sophomore Audrey Rustad and first year Eric Barrett were also recognized.
