Ephs to Receive 19th Directors' Cup Saturday in Lansing Chapman Rink After Men's Hockey 3:00 PM Tilt

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Williams College will receive the 2015-16 Learfield Sports Directors' Cup emblematic of athletic supremacy in NCAA Division III Saturday afternoon in Lansing Chapman Rink.

Last year Williams tallied 1,103.25 points in NCAA Championships to edge Washington University of St. Louis's total of 1013.00

Amber Armstrong representing Learfield Sports will present the Directors' Cup to Williams College President Adam Falk and Athletic Director Lisa Melendy in an on-ice ceremony. Athletes from several Eph teams will also be involved in the on-ice event,

The Cup presentation will immediately follow the conclusion of the men's ice hockey game between Williams and Connecticut College that begins at 3:00 p.m.

The 2015-16 Directors' Cup is the 19th that Williams has won in the 21-year history of the competition.

Seven Eph teams will compete at home on Saturday:

1:00 PM – Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving vs. Boston College

1:00 PM – Men's & Women's Squash vs. Drexel

3:00 PM – Men's Ice Hockey vs. Connecticut College

6:00 PM – Women's Basketball vs. Clarkson

6:00 PM – Men's Squash vs. Hobart

7:00 PM – Women's Ice Hockey vs. Wesleyan
