WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – The Chandler Gym lobby at Williams College is now home to the first publicly and permanently displayed Learfield Sports Directors' Cup in Williamstown won by Williams College.

The Learfield Sports Directors' Cup is awarded annually to the top NCAA Division III institution in the nation. Points in the Directors' Cup competition are earned through the school's participation in NCAA Championships.

Williams has won the Directors' Cup 19 times in the 21 years that the Cup has been awarded in NCAA Division III.

The 2015-16 Directors' Cup is displayed in a beautiful trophy case constructed by Williams College carpenter Kyle Lawson and is located just to the right of the main entrance to the gym.

The trophy case is also visible from the courtyard in front of the Chandler Athletic Center. The trophy case will be illuminated at night for viewing from the courtyard when the Chandler Athletic center is not hosting an athletic competition.

The Williams College Office of Sports Information paid for the construction and installation of the Directors' Cup to honor all of the Eph athletes over the years that have contributed to the college's winning point totals.
