Matt Harmon joined the Williams Athletic Department in the fall of 2013 as an assistant track and field coach and in that same year as a strength and conditioning assistant coach.
On the track Harmon has helped lead the Ephs to multiple NESCAC and DIII New England Titles. Harmon graduated from The University of Southern Maine (USM) with a B.A. in criminology and competed for the Huskies, earning seventeen all-conference awards and was the 2012 Little East Conference champion in the hammer throw. He is currently pursuing a Master's of Science degree with a focus in human movement from Concordia-Chicago and his anticipated completion date is June 1, 2018.
Harmon holds USTFCCCA Strength and Conditioning certification, NASM Corrective Exercises Specialist Certification, USATF and USTFCCCA Level 1 Certifications. Harmon competes in powerlifting and strong man competitions.
He lives with his wife Ashley in New Ashford, Mass.
