Men's Squash Takes Little Three Title

AMHERST—The Williams Men's Squash team took the Little Three championship after successfully taking down Wesleyan and Amherst 9-0 and 7-2, respectively.

Williams started the day off against the Cardinals, dropping only one game total en route to a 9-0 rout. Though the Ephs went into the match as a heavy favorite, they stayed on their guard and turned in solid performances across the board.

Shortly after the Wesleyan match finished, Williams shifted their focus to a much improved Amherst squad. The Lord Jeffs gave the Ephs all they could handle in many positions, and sometimes more. Williams dropped the number one and seven positions, and got gutsy five game wins from Jack Ervasti and Jeremy Herrmann at the three and six, respectively. Will Gruner, Nick Marks, and Taylor Foehl all won in three games.

"I'm very pleased with the performance from the boys today. We did what we needed to do and now we'll turn our attention to tomorrow's matches and NESCACs next weekend", commented head coach Zafi Levy.

Williams travels to Ithaca, NY to square-off with Cornell tomorrow morning, then heads to Hamilton to finish off the weekend in the afternoon.
