Men's Squash Finshes Weekend 3-1

CLINTON— The Williams Men's Squash team finished off their busy weekend Sunday, falling to Cornell 9-0 and rebounding to beat Hamilton 9-0.

The Ephs' day started in Ithaca where they took on the fifth ranked Big Red. The men looked to build on the momentum they gained at Little Three's, but the Ivy League competition proved to be too tough, as Williams was unable to get a game in any position.

The Eph's had time to regroup on the bus as they headed to Hamilton for their fourth and final match of the weekend. The team was able to refocus and deliver a solid performance, winning 3-0 across the board.

"Today was an up and down end to a long weekend. Cornell is obviously a very good team, but I'm proud of the way the boys competed even we didn't get the results we might have liked. We did a nice job of staying mentally tough against Hamilton in our fourth match of the weekend, too" commented coach Zafi Levy.

Williams faces another brutal upcoming weekend with four matches on the schedule. The Ephs will take on Brown University Friday at 4 and then will travel to Trinity for the NESCAC tournament, playing as the #2 seed.
