Ephs Top Panthers

MIDDLEBURY—The Williams Men's Squash team finished off their successful regular season with a solid 7-2 victory over the Middlebury Panthers. The Ephs finish the season ranked eleventh nationally with a record of 14-8.

Jack Ervasti and Andy Maruca got the Ephs off to a good start at the six and nine positions, each winning in three. Tayor Foehl and Will Morris were then able to follow suit at the five and two spots. Nick Marks and Will Gruner had the toughest matches of the day. Marks was able to win in a close for games, while it took Gruner five to thwart his crafty opponent.

"Middlebury is a very good team and I'm proud of the team for stepping up in tough circumstances to finish off our regular season with a good win. I'm very happy with how the regular season went for us, and we can make it a truly remarkable year with a good showing at nationals" said head coach Zafi Levy

Williams now turns their attention to the College Squash Association national championships, where they will be seeded third in the "B" draw, eleventh overall. The tournament will take place at Harvard University starting February 25.
