Men's Squash Takes Down Middlebury

WILLIAMSTOWN-- The Williams Men's Squash team concluded a three-match weekend with an 8-1 win over the Middlebury Panthers.

Alec Greaves-Tunnell and Nick Marks once again led the way for the Ephs, taking both of their matches 3-0 to give Williams its first two wins. Connor McClintock was right behind them at the number nine position, winning his match in four games.

Julian Drobetsky turned in a dominating performance at the number eight position, winning in three quick games.

Andy Maruca, Taylor Foehl, and Kevin Chen each won in four games. Maruca jumped out to a 2-0 start before stumbling in the third game, but quickly regained his form to take the fifth. Foehl dropped his first game but settled in to take the next three. Chen won his first game but lost his second before pulling away in the third and fourth.

Will Morris had the win of the day for the  Ephs. Morris fell behind his opponent 2-0 but clawed back to take the next three.

Williams will travel to Wesleyan next Saturday for Little Threes before continuing on to New York City for its first meeting with Columbia ever.
