The Williams Men's squash swept the three Maine NESCAC schools this weekend. Williams beat Bowdoin 9-0, Colby 9-0, and Bates 7-2.
The Ephs traveled to Brunswick first to take on the Polar Bears of Bowdoin. Nick Greaves-Tunnell and Taylor Foehl had to work hardest to earn their victories. Greaves-Tunnell was able to overcome a 2-1 deficit to win in five, while Foehl needed only four close games to close out his opponent.
Next up was Colby College, and the men were able to play well in their second match of the day. Julian Drobetsky was the only Eph to drop a game. After falling behind 2-0, Drobetsky recovered to take the last three games handily.
Bates proved to be the stiffest test of the weekend. Alec Greaves-Tunnell, Will Morris, and Jared Zuckerman all needed five games to close out their opponents. Taylor Foehl and Nick Greaves-Tunnell came out on the wrong side of their five game decisions.
Williams will travel to Yale for a busy weekend starting Friday. The Ephs will play Franklin and Marshall, George Washington University, Conn College, and Yale all in New Haven.
