Williams Rolls Past Bowdoin in 9-0 Win

BRUNSWICK, ME - The Ephs continued to bounce back from their defeat to Bates on Saturday with a second consecutive win over Bowdoin.

It looked like a good day for the Ephs from the start. Juniors Ben Eisenberg (#6) and Anand Butler (#9) led off for Williams, joined by freshman Wyatt Khosrowshahi (#3). Khosrowshahi and Butler each earned strong 3-0 wins. Eisenberg also won, by a slightly closer score of 3-1.

Next on were junior John Fitzgerald (#2), sophomore Claude Smith (#5), and senior co-captain Mason Elizondo (#8). Fitzgerald delivered a commanding performance en route to a 3-0 win. Smith and Elizondo were made to work a bit harder in their matches, but finished up with another pair of wins.

Last for the Ephs to compete were sophomores Will Means (#1) and Carl Shuck (#4), as well as senior co-captain Andrew Litvin (#7). Shuck came in with a solid 3-0 win. Means and Litvin both battled with a strong pair of Bowdoin players but eventually both came through with 3-2 wins to cap off the 9-0 victory for the Ephs.

The Ephs look to get a good next week of training in in preparation for big matches against Navy, GW, Stanford, and F&M.
