BOSTON, MASS. – Williams College senior quarterback
Bobby Maimaron has been honored yet again this fall for his outstanding play in leading the Ephs to their first ever 9-0-0 perfect season and the NESCAC championship.
Seven times prior Eph football had completed 8-0-0 seasons.
Bobby Maimaron shares the Gridiron Club of Boston 2021 DII-III Joseph P. Zabilski Offensive Player Award with Stonehill running back Justin Felder as they both earned the same number of votes from the Gridiron Club of Boston committee. The Zabilski Award is given to the most outstanding offensive and defensive players in Division II-III in New England

Bobby was a transformational player and person for a championship team and he is very deserving of this honor. He was a selfless teammate and leader and I know he looks forward to sharing this award with his teammates."
Maimaron who started from day one as a first year was instrumental in leading Williams to a four year record of 27-9 (.750). As a first year quarterback Maimaron led the 2017 Williams team to a 6-3 record, establishing the Ephs as the Most Improved NCAA DIII team in 2017. In 2016 the Ephs had gone winless, 0-8.

Mark Raymond. "He has been a leader both on and off the field. His toughness and commitment have made him the ultimate teammate. Finishing 9-0-0 this season is the perfect ending to a tremendous 4-year career."
With Maimaron directing the Eph attack Williams is now in possession of a 10-game win streak overall.
Previously this fall Maimaron was named First Team All-NESCAC, NESCAC Offensive Player of the Year, the New England Football Writers named him to their All-New England DII-III Team and honored him with their Gold Helmet Award as the most valuable player in New England II-III.
His first three seasons at Williams Maimaron earned Second Team All-NESCAC recognition.
Maimaron directed a 2021 Williams offense that was first in NESCAC in points per game 34.1 and second in yards per game 412.2. He threw for 1,608 yards and connected on 15 touchdown passes, while completing 58.2% of his passes. He finished ninth in rushing in NESCAC gaining 503 yards and scoring 6 TDs.
