EPHS SWEEP HAMILTON 9-0

CLINTON, NY. – The mighty Ephs started the season off with a dominating performance over Hamilton, not dropping a single game down the lineup. Temporary Coach Cameron Darnell said that "the boys showed up big today", with every man using the extra physicality earned during pre-season bike sessions to seal the deal.

Up first was our mighty Co-Captain Will Evans, who led the charge with a strong 3-0, his opponent intimated both by his physique and squash skills. John Nicholson and Chas Merrill also started the match in a clinical manner, finishing their opponents off in 20 minutes each.

Next up was Alex Akbari with a well-earned 3-0 win . Co-Captain Udai Pal utilized his soft hands to clinch the first game 12-10 before finishing the match 3-0, while Andrew Lee kept the momentum rolling with a solid 3-0 win.

And the final matches included Asher Leavy, who used his extra foot of height over the average male to hit many unusual angles, allowing him to defeat his player. Pierce Henderson elegantly won in 3, and Andrew Minnis secured the 9-0 sweep 11-2 in the third after outlasting his opponent during a grueling first two games.

The purple cows are looking forward to tomorrow when they head to Ithica, NY to take on #8 in the Nation, Cornel.
