WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS – Williams College junior attack
Shea van den Broek has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Berkshire Region First Team in a vote by head coaches.
"I'm very happy for Shea, and this post-season award is a big testament to all of the extra reps she puts in outside of practice," said Eph head coach
Alice Lee. "Shea is a leader for us on the offense, and works hard to fine-tune her skills throughout the year. She can finish on her opportunities to cage, but she is always looking to set up her teammates as well!"
She started and played all 13 games this spring and van den Broek led the Ephs in scoring this season notching 38 goals, 14 assists, and 52 points.
In addition this spring van den Broek was successful on all 5 of her free position shots, caused three turnovers, scooped up 12 ground balls, and secured 10 draw controls.
