Box Score WORCESTER, MASS. –
Alix Barrale's Williams field hockey team ranked 14
th nationally put on an offensive display and a defensive clinic in rolling up an 8-0 win over Clark University on the road.
The Ephs went up 1-0 just 1:18 into the contest when first year
Kiki Higgins scored. Just over seven minutes later Shea Van den Broek scored to double the Eph lead.
The Ephs' 2-0 first quarter lead grew to 6-0 at the half as Van den Broek and Higgins each scored again and first years
Pilar Torres and
Natalia Nolan each tallied a goal.
The Eph defense was so tight in the first half that Eph senior goalie
Carson Stephenson was not required to make a save.
The Eph third quarter goal was scored by junior
Payton Ahola and the final Eph goal in the fourth quarter came from sophomore
Kaela Smith.

Gates Tenerowicz played the second half and she made one save to preserve the shutout. Senior
Faith Stineman led all players with two assist in the contest.
On the night the Ephs fired off 36 shots with 19 being on goal, while the Clark Cougars managed just three shots and only one on goal.
