BRUNSWICK, ME – Williams Men's squash had a thundering 8-1 victory over Bowdoin today. After a great win against Bates yesterday, they were looking to continue their momentum along their Maine school circuit this weekend. Co-captain

First on for the Ephs on the three-court system was
Asher Leavy. He started with a quick 4-minute first game win, involving thunderous hits and tight rails. Following a loss of focus in the second game, Asher regrouped quickly to win in 4. Next up co-captain Will Evans. Following a tough first game loss, Evans regrouped quickly, returning to his chipping ways to chop-chop his opponent for a decisive win in 4. The final player in the first round stage was
Cameron Darnell. Since his return to play, Cam has been undefeated and today proved no different as he won again, this time in 4 games
Next up on the middle court was
Pierce Henderson. Pierce, handled the racket skillfully, winning in just under 20 minutes. On the bottom court, Chas Merrill proved just as clinical winning in 19 minutes with his disciplined approach. Finally, on the top court
Andrew Minnis had a grueling 5-game battle that unfortunately saw him fall 11-8 in the fifth.
Up last on the middle court for the Ephs was the lefty
Jack Lee who quickly minced his opponent in 3. Last on the bottom court was
John Nicholson, who won descisively in 3. Fearless senior Co-captain
Udai Pal drew the largest crowd of the evening with back-and-forth rallies and seemingly never-ending energy between him and his opponent. Pal won in 5 games.
Next up the Ephs travel to Colby to round up their Maine trip and are hoping to leave the weekend undefeated.
