Carlisle, PA – The Williams Men's Squash team had a thundering victory over Dickinson's squash today, with the final score being 9-0. After winning both of their matches this weekend, they were looking to continue the winning streak and end the weekend on a high note. Their Co-Captain
Udai Pal said he was "proud of how everyone fought and stayed disciplined throughout the match."
The Ephs played on a five-court system at Dickinson.
Pierce Henderson led off the match with a 3-0 victory, using his control of the ball to make quick work of the opponent.
Alex Akbari also won 3-0 in quick succession.
Jack Lee had a slow start to the first game, but regrouped and won 12-10. He then won the next two games with ease to win the match 3-0. And last up for the Men's team was Co-Captain Will Evans, who had a few hiccups in the second game, but won the match 3-1.
First up in the second round of matches was
John Nicholson, who won the third game 12-10 to take the match 3-0.
Cameron Darnell and
Asher Leavy also won their matches 3-0 in quick succession, both of them using their height to dominate their opponent and control the court.
Andrew Minnis used his tight gameplay and some vicious attacking shots to win 3-0. And last on court was their Co-Captain
Udai Pal who won 3-0 against his opponent.
The Williams Men's squash team had strong start to their 2023 matches this weekend.
Udai Pal says that "our focus no turns to our trip to Maine next weekend where we square off against Bates, Bowdoin, and Colby".
