WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - The Williams Men's Squash team had a double header, playing both MIT and Wesleyan today. They were victorious in both of their matches, dropping only 1 match out of 18 today. Interim Head Coach
Hesham Aly said, "It was a solid end to a long weekend of matches for the team" and he was "pleased with how the team performed today."
Against MIT,
Jack Lee,
Nick Agger,
Asher Leavy, and
Charles Merrill all took control of the court and won solidly in three games.
Hudson Lin,
John Nicholson, and Co-Captains
Will Evans and
Andrew Minnis all won 3-1, mostly using the ball well, recovering from lapses of focus to win their matches.
Alex Akbari won the first and fourth game of his match, but unfortunately could not constantly keep the pressure up and lost 3-2. The final match score against MIT was 8-1.
Against Wesleyan, several members of the team stepped up to fill roles in the top nine.

John Nicholson all won solidly 3-0.
Hudson Lin won his first game, but a few errors in shot decisions cost him a close second, which he lost 14-12. However, he recovered and won 3-1.
Rafay Syed,
Charles Merrill, and
Cameron Darnell all stepped in and won their matches decisively in 3 games.
With the 9-0 win over Wsleyan the Ephs can winthe Little Three with a win at Amherst.
Additionally, today the team recognized seniors

Andrew Lee, and
Will Comyns for their contributions to the program over their four years on the team.
It was a solid end to a long string of matches for the team. The Ephs look forward to a solid week of training and facing off against Amherst next weekend.
