WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Williams College men's squash team opened up the 2025-26 season against tough competitions, squaring off against the #2 ranked Trinity Bantams on Saturday at the Simon Squash Center.
The Ephs were able to capture a pair of wins against the perennial powerhouse, with Rafay Syed at #8 and Anden Boulan at #9 both winning 3-0.
Another highlight was Leighton Calhoun's battle at #6, where he was able to battle back from 2-0 down to force a fifth game before the Trinity player regained the advantage to win 3-2.
For first-years Calhoun and Boulan, Saturday's match was also a collegiate debut, as it was for Dylan Scott, who won his exhibition match at #10.
Williams will be back in action quickly, squaring off against #10 ranked Cornell on Sunday at noon at the Simon Squash Center.
