Men’s squash earns first win of season, beating Hamilton 9-0

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Ephs men's squash team earned its first win of the 2025-26 season, cruising past NESCAC rival Hamilton on Saturday afternoon by the score of 9-0.

Williams was dominant on its home courts, winning at all nine spots and getting 3-0 victories in all but two of the matches.

First-year Leighton Calhoun earned his first collegiate victory after coming close in the team's opening matches against Trinity and Cornell, and Dylan Scott also won his first for the Ephs. Several Ephs got their first wins of the new season, including Nick Agger, Asher Leavy, Will Newton, Leonard Lee, John Nicholson, and Gabriel Ramirez.

The Ephs next matches will be on a difficult road trip, when the team heads south to play the University of Western Ontario at the University of Pennsylvania on December 6, followed by a visit to Princeton on December 7. The team will return to the home courts when it hosts three matches the weekend of January 9-11.
