HADLEY, Mass. - After finishing with three goals and two assists during a four-point NESCAC weekend for the Williams College men's ice hockey team, sophomore forward
Jake McManus earned NESCAC Co-Player of the Week honors from the conference office Monday.
This marks McManus' second career weekly award from the NESCAC, as he was name the conference's Player of the Week on Feb. 3, 2025. Junior forward
Brady Welsch took home the honor earlier this season on Nov. 24 for the Ephs (3-5-0, 3-3-0 NESCAC).
Against No. 6-ranked Hamilton Friday evening at Lansing Chapman Rink, McManus scored two third-period goals 59 seconds apart and added a first-period assist. He assisted on Welsch's power-play, game-winning goal during the third period, while adding an empty-net tally during the final minutes, in a 5-2 triumph against Amherst Saturday afternoon in Williamstown, Massachusetts. For the season, the Winthrop, Massachusetts, native has totaled four goals and five assists in eight games.
The Ephs compete at Oswego State on Friday, Jan. 2, at 7 p.m.
