Jackson Krill of the Williams College men's ice hockey team scored his sixth goal of the season during a 6-1 setback to Little Three-rival Wesleyan in NESCAC action Friday evening at the Spurrier-Snyder Rink.
During the second period, sophomore
Jake McManus won the faceoff from the left circle, and then junior
Brady Welsch blasted a shot on net, with Krill burying the rebound from the right edge of the crease for the Ephs (3-7-1, 3-4-0 NESCAC). Each team finished with 29 shots on goal.
The Cardinals (4-7-0, 3-2-0 NESCAC) scored two goals in the first period, three in the second and one in the third. Wesleyan was led by Danny Judge (1 goal, 2 assists) and Jack Bosco (2 goals).
The Ephs will compete at Trinity Saturday at 3 p.m. in Hartford, Connecticut.
