HANOVER, N.H. - First-years Leighton Calhoun and Dylan Scott earned the Ephs' wins as the #13 Williams College men's squash team dropped a 7-2 result at #9 Dartmouth College on Wednesday evening in New Hampshire.
Calhoun and Scott, playing at #6 and #7, battled to earn big wins against a top-10 team, with Calhoun winning 3-1 (11-5, 11-8, 9-11, 11-6) and Scott going the distance to win 3-2 (11-8, 11-5, 6-11, 2-11, 11-9).
It was the final match for the Ephs before heading to Hamilton this weekend for the NESCAC Championships, where the team has the #3 seed and will face #6 Middlebury (ranked 17th nationally). The winner will take on the winner of the #2 Tufts vs. #7 Bowdoin match on Sunday morning.
