Brunswick, ME. – The Williams College baseball team lost the final game of the series with Bowdoin, 4-3.

The Ephs fall to 9-17 on the season. They will play again Wednesday at home against RPI at 4:00 pm.

The Ephs outhit Bowdoin 12-6 in the contest but unfortunately could not come out with the win. 

Williams took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third when David Rosas hit an RBI single down the left field line but Bowdoin responded in the bottom of the fourth scoring 4 runs. Jack Bohen lasted four innings, giving up 6 hits, 4 runs, 3 of them earned, and striking out 2 and took the loss today for Williams.

Williams attempted to close the gap, scoring 2 runs in the top of the sixth off a bunt by Alex Panstares followed by a throwing error by Bowdoin's third baseman which allowed Nate Michalski to reach home. An RBI single from Jackson Parese brought the Ephs within 1 at the end of the inning.
 
Neither team was able to score in the remaining innings and Bowdoin came out on top and took the win to improve their record to 18-10 overall. Richard Arms earned the win today for Bowdoin pitching 5 innings, giving up 5 hits, 1 run and striking out 5.
David Rosas went 1 for 4 today with 1 RBI and Jackson Parese went 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and led the offense for the Ephs in today's contest.
