HADLEY, MA. — Williams College junior Jack Bohen (Wallingford, Conn.) has been selected the New England Small College Athletic Conference's Baseball Pitcher of the Week for play ending Sunday, April 22.
A southpaw, Bohen fanned a career-high 10 batters Saturday, pitching a complete-game two-hitter in the Ephs 2-1 win over Hamilton. It was Bohen's second straight complete-game effort. He no-hit the Continentals for the first 4.1 innings and allowed two singles in the win, which evened his record at 2-2. He was flawless in the field as well, handling three chances without an error.
In seven appearance this season, including four starters, Bohen has gone 2-2 with a 4.35 earned run average. His 31 innings pitched are second on the team. He has allowed 26 hits and 18 walks while striking out 31.
