HADLEY, MA -- For the second time this season senior RB Ryan Lupo (Princeton Junction, NJ) has been accorded the NESCAC's Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Lupo shares the honor this week with Amherst QB Alex Vetras. Lupo first won the honor back in the first week of the season for his efforts in the Ephs' win over Bowdoln.

At Tufts on Saturday Lupo ran for 180 yards on 39 carries and had a long of 18 yards, while tying the Williams single game record with four rushing TDs. Lupo scored the first TD of the game and then in the second half he pwered an Eph comeback by scoring on runs of 10, 4 and 1 yard.

In the second half Lupo ground out 117 yards and lifted the Ephs out from under a 24-14 deficit to a 35-24 win. The win moved the Eph record to 5-0.

This season Lupo is second in NESCAC in rushing with an average of 101.6 yards a game and he has scored 7 rushing TDs. He is tied for first in scoring on the Williams team with sphomore WR Darren Hartwell with 42 points.

The Ephs will take to the road against this week as they will head west to Clinton, NY, to face the Hamilton College Continentals at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
