At the annual team banquet the Ephs hand out five longtime special awards to deserving team members and announce the names of the captains for the upcoming season.
That is, until this year when rookie head coach Aaron Kelton announced the creation of a handful of new awards and stated that the captains for 2011 would be named in the pre-season, "after we see who the most dedicated players are and the type of leadership they bring."
This year's banquet honoring the undefeated champions (8-0) of the Little Three and NESCAC was held at the Pittsfield (MA) Country Club on December 5.
