Mike Reily '64 and the Story of his #50 Football Jersey Continues to Reverberate

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees, arguably the most famous current resident of New Orleans, was so moved when he read Tim Layden's story of Mike Reily '64 and his #50 Williams football jersey last November in Sports Illustrated that he sent his copy of the story from Sports Illustrated "THE FORGOTTEN HERO" to Mike's brother Tim, a New Orleans resident, through a mutual friend.

Tim Reily has shared what Drew Brees wrote on the first page of Tim Layden's story on Mike Reily and the first retired football jersey at Williams College.
