HADLEY, MA – Williams College first year placekicker/punter Andrew Schreibstein (Longmeadow, Mass.) opened his collegiate career connecting on both field goal attempts and converting all five point after touchdown opportunities in the Ephs' 41-6 win at Bowdoin.
Schriebstein was called on to punt three times on the day and he averaged 37.7 yards per punt.
One of his punts was downed inside the 20-yard line.
"I was very impressed with Andrew's performance," stated Eph head coach Mark Raymond. "In his first collegiate game he was exceptional. It is very difficult to handle of the kicking and punting duties, and Andrew did it remarkably well."
This Saturday at 1:00 PM Schreibstein will get his first in-game opportunity to kick and punt on the Ephs home field -- Farely-Lamb Field -- when the Colby Mules come to town for game two of the 2018 season.
