Leondre Simmon, a standout two-sport athlete at St. Lawrence University, is beginning his intercollegiate coaching career at Williams in 2016, where he joins Mark Raymond's first Eph staff. Simmon played at St. Lawrence for Raymond.
A two-time All-American in football at St. Lawrence, Simmon played defensive back and wide receiver for the Saints. His senior year, Simmon earned ECAC All-North Team honors, First Team All-East Region, and First Team All-Liberty League recognition. He led both the Saints and the Liberty League in interceptions in his final season with six.
Additionally, Simmon lettered three years in basketball at St. Lawrence, where he started at point guard.
The 2016 St. Lawrence grad earned a B.A. in sociology and he minored in Education and Sports Medicine and Coaching.
Simmon will be coaching the Ephs' defensive backs.
