HADLEY, Mass. — Williams College senior forward Libby Dolan (Barrington, R.I.) and junior defender Marissa Feller (Marlborough, Mass.) have been selected to the All-New England Small College Athletic Conference teams by the conference's coaches.
Dolan, who led the Ephs in goals each of the last two years, finished this season with 13 goals and 2 assists for a team-leading total of 28 points. Dolan started all 17 games for the Ephs this season. She had a team-high seven game-winning goals and an .800 shot-on-goal percentage. Dolan moved up to the First Team after garnering All-NESCAC Second Team honors last year.
"Libby is an offensive dynamo," Ephs' head coach Alix Barrale said. "Her stick skills are so deceptive which makes her very difficult to defend. She has been CLUTCH all season scoring when we needed it. She will be sorely missed!"
Dolan played in 49 games in her Williams career, starting 37. She had 79 career points and 36 career goals to go along with seven assists. She had 12 game-winning goal in her career. all coming over the past two seasons. Her 36 career goals tie her for 6th all-time in school history with her current head coach, Alix Barrale. Her 79 points leave her 9th all-time in points in program history.
Feller, is a dynamic junior defender who helped the Ephs allow only 28 goals in 17 games (1.65 per game). She had two defensive saves this season while starting in all 17 games.
"Marissa is a stand out defender," Barrale said. "Her explosive speed and strong stick tackles make her a double threat in our defensive circle. She never backs down and hustles on every play. She came up big numerous times getting key stops on defensive corners. So happy she will be returning next year."
