WILLIAMSTOWN, MA – Williams College senior forward Libby Dolan (Barrington, R.I.) has been named a Third Team Longstreth/NFHCA All-American for her play this fall.
The All-American honor is the third honor this fall bestowed upon Dolan. Previously this fall Dolan was named to the New England Small College Athletic Conference First Team and to the First Team Longstreth/NFHCA All-New England West Team.
"I am beyond excited for Libby and her recent honor as an Longstreth/NFHCA All-American," said Eph head coach Alix Barrale. "Her recognition is well deserved and reflects her dedication to the Williams field hockey program over the past four years. It is a fitting end to an outstanding career. I could not be more proud of her."
Dolan, who led the Ephs in goals each of the last two years, finished this season with 13 goals and 2 assists for a team-leading total of 28 points. She started all 17 games for the Ephs this season. Seven of Dolan's 13 goals this past season were game-winning goals and she fashioned a .800 shot-on-goal percentage.
Dolan played in 49 games in her Williams' career, starting 37. She registered 79 career points on 36 goals and seven assists. Twelve times in her time in the Purple valley Dolan provided game-winning goals, all-coming over the past two seasons. Her 36 career goals tie her for 6th all-time in school history with her head coach, Alix Barrale. Her 79 points leave her 9th all-time in points in program history.
