Ashley Kisner

Ashley Kisner is in her first year as assistant to Alix Barrale, head coach of feld hockey.

Kisner comes to the Berkshires after coaching at Lynchburg College for the past three seasons. At Lynchburg, the Hornets captured ODAC titles in each of Kisner's first two years at LC and had a 46-16 record overall and 24-2 in conference play during her three years there. She also coached 18 all-conference members, 7 all-region selections, and 3 All-Americans. At Lynchburg, Kisner was responsible for the defensive unit, recruiting, camps/clinics, and social media.

She spent the 2011 season as an assistant coach and defensive coordinator for the Wilson College field hockey team.

Kisner is a 2011 graduate of Salisbury University that won the National Championship in 2009. She was the right back of a defense that allowed just 11 goals and had a goals-against average of 0.52 in 2009. Kisner earned second-team All South Region and three second-team CAC selections. She was also the first recipient of the CAC defensive player of the week when the honor was added in 2010.

Kisner holds a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with minors in athletic coaching and marketing/management from Salisbury. She has certifications in strength and conditioning and personal training with years of experience in both fields. Kisner also has a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Lynchburg College.
