Dan Wohl Named NESCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

HADLEY, MA – Williams College senior captain and guard Dan Wohl (La Canada, CA) has been named the NESCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for helping lead the Ephs to a 3-0 week.

Behind Wohl's 59 points and 23 rebounds the Ephs defeated MCLA, Skidmore, and Union, extending their win streak to five.

In the 82-71 win over MCLA at home Wohl tallied 19 points and snared eight rebounds.

At Union College's Sig Makofski Tournament Wohl scored 21 points in the Ephs' 86-77 win over Skidmore and then followed that up with double-double against host Union. Versus the home team the Union Dutchmen Wohl dropped in 19 points and collected 11 rebounds en route to being named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.

Wohl hit on 47.2 % of his floor attempts, registered five steals, and handed out five assists.

In his four years in the Purple Valley Wohl has played in 89 games and has scored 912 points, while grabbing 477 rebounds.

Next up for the Ephs is a road contest in Troy, NY on December 2 when they take on the Engineers of RPI at 8:00 PM.
