HADLEY, MA — Williams College junior guard Daniel Aronowitz (Columbus, OH) has been selected as the New England Small College Athletics Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, November 29.
On Tuesday, Dec. 1 the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) named Aronowitz the New England DIII Men's Player of the Week.
Aronowitz scored a career-high 32 points in an 80-73 win at MCLA and followed up with a double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in a 19-point win over Manhattanville Sunday. He averaged 24.5 points per game for the week as the Ephs went 2-0. Aronowitz also shot 51.5 percent from the floor, 40.0 percent from three-point land and 84.6 percent from the free-throw line, while adding 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game.
Aronowitz currently leads the Ephs (4-0) in points per game (17.0) and rebounds per contest (8.3).
