Daniel Aronowitz named First Team All-Conference

HADLEY, MA — Williams College junior guard Daniel Aronowitz (Columbus, OH) has been selected to the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Basketball First Team, it was announced today. 

Aronowitz did it all for Williams this season to collect all-conference recognition for the first time in his career. The junior is the only NESCAC player to rank in the top five in scoring and rebounding after ranking third in scoring (18.2) and fifth in rebounding (7.4). Aronowitz is also among the top long-range shooters in the conference, converting 40.7 percent of his three-point attempts. He scored 20 or more points in 10 games this season.

"I could not be more happy for Dan being recognized as an All-NESCAC performer," Ephs' head coach Kevin App said. "He came into this season our most experienced player, and it showed in his confidence and consistency. He's a gifted player that can affect games in a variety of ways. I'm very proud of Dan, and know he is going to put the work in the off-season to make sure he and our team are better next year."

Aronowitz led the Ephs in dcoring with his 18.2 ppg. average nd his 7.4 rebounds per contest. He also led the team in minutes played, averaging 31.6 minutes per game for the Ephs, who finished 15-10 this season. 

He also led the team in steals with 23 and in assists with 58. His nine blocks with third on the squad.
