Heskett was named to the First Team and Casey was named to the Third Team. "James and Bobby worked incredibly hard to help lead our team this season," stated Eph head coach Kevin App. "It's great to see them get recognized for their performance and commitment to making our program successful."
Previously both Heskett and Casey were named to the All-NESCAC First Team and Heskett was tabbed the NESCAC Player of the Year. Most recently Heskett was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Northeast First Team.
Heskett led the Ephs and NESCAC in scoring with 19.3 points per game. This season Heskett became the 20th Eph to score over 500 points in a season and his total of 560 this winter is seventh best all-time at Williams.
He scored more points in his junior season than he did in his first two years combined, helping the Ephs win the NESCAC title, advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and post a season mark of 23-6.
On the season Heskett connected on 49.5% (185-374) of his field goal attempts, 41.8% (89-213) of his three pointers, and drained 80.2% (101-121) of his free throws, while adding 3.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest.
This season Heskett started all 29 games and averaged 28.4 minutes a game.
Bobby Casey started 21 of 29 games this season and logged 842 minutes for an average of 29.0 per contest. Casey averaged 15.3 points a game (444 points) by connecting on 46.4 % of his field goal attempts (149/320), 42.9% of his threes (91/212) and 64.5% of his free throws (69/107).
Casey's 62 assists on the year raised his career total to 187. He also notched seven blocked shots and recorded 26 steals.
