HADLEY, Mass. — Senior guard Bobby Casey (Scranton, PA.) has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for play ending Sunday, Dec. 2.
Casey averaged 21.0 points per game in a 2-0 week. He shot 68.2 percent from the floor, 71.4 percent from 3-point range (10-for-14), and averaged 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. He had 16 points and eight rebounds in a win over Wesleyan and added three assists and a steal. In a win at Fitchburg State, he scored 26 points in 21 minutes on 9-for-10 shooting from the floor, including a 7-for-8 effort from 3-point range.
Casey's 17.6 ppg. this season is currently fourth in the conference.
