Kyle Scadlock Named NESCAC Player of the Week

HADLEY, MASS. -- Williams College senior guard/forward Kyle Scadlock (Twinsburg, Ohio) has been named the NESCAC Men's basketball Player of the Week for his role in the Ephs' two wins last week.

With the wins over Union College (87-70) and Springfield College (75-71) the Ephs have improved to 9-0 on the year.

Scadlock averaged a double-double in the Ephs' two wins scoring 18.5 points and collecting 13.0 rebounds.

He tallied 25 points against Union on 9 of 15 shooting and snared 13 rebounds. On Saturday at Springfield College he tallied 12 points and again snared 13 rebounds.

Through the first nine games Scadlock has netted 130 points (14.4 ppg) and has pulled down 83 rebounds (8.2 rpg).

"Very happy for Kyle to be named NESCAC Player of the Week," said Eph head coach Kevin App. "After missing most of last season due to injury, Kyle is playing with a level of confidence and joy that is fun to watch. It's been uplifting and exciting seeing him have a great semester."

The Ephs are off now for final exams and a holiday break, but they will return to action on Dec. 30 when they play Montclair State on the campus of Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pa. The following day Williams will play Moravian before returning home to begin conference play vs. Wesleyan University Jan. 4 (7:00 PM) and Connecticut College on Jan. 5 at 3:00 PM.
